KASIA STANICICH MAKEUP - BOOKING TERMS & AGREEMENT

Before accepting your quote and making your booking, please familiarise yourself with my booking agreement.
By making your booking fee payment, you agree to the below terms:

CANCELLATIONS/POSTPONEMENTS/COVID 19 (updated November 23rd 2021)

  • Should government guidance require, clients may be required to provide a vaccination certificate in order for me to complete makeup services and remain trading. This includes your bridal party or anyone receiving makeup services for your wedding. These will be checked on the day and any clients unable to provide this will have their service forfeited and a full application charged. I am fully vaccinated and happy to pass on my certificate to you/your venue/vendors who may require this.

  • Your booking is not considered confirmed until a $100 booking fee has been received (this will contribute to your final payment). Please be aware this fee covers my time and administration in order to hold and secure your date in the lead up to the wedding. You agree that it is non-refundable and non-transferrable in all circumstances, including choosing to cancel/postpone due to COVID19 restrictions such as border closures or gathering limits - if the service is able to be performed within the guidelines of the NZ Government (at Levels Red, Orange or Green), then your booking fee is non-transferrable and non-refundable.

  • In the event of a Government enforced lockdown or city border that prevents Kasia travelling to your location, or close contact businesses being unable to trade, your booking fee will be transferrable to a new service within 12 months. It is non-refundable and in the unfortunate event that Kasia isn’t available on your new date you will be able to use the value of the booking fee toward a makeup service for another occasion.

  • In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your bridal booking, the following policy applies. If given less than eight (8) weeks notice, 50% of the total invoice will be charged. If given less than four (4) weeks notice, 100% of the remaining invoice will be charged. Making the decision not to move forward with your booking due to personal reasons, including those relating to COVID 19 restrictions is considered a cancellation and the above notice periods apply.

PRICING/AMENDMENTS

  • The price you have been quoted is valid for 30 days (or until confirmed with a paid booking fee). Otherwise, prices are subject to change.

  • A 15% surcharge applies to bookings made for Public Holidays, Sundays or after hours (6am-6pm) bookings - where applicable.

  • Minimum and maximum booking numbers for bridal apply during peak season. A peak season booking requires a minimum of 4 clients and maximum of 6 clients. If your numbers go below 4, the total clients will still be charged at 4 adult persons. For bookings over 6 people, a second artist can be booked (an administration fee ($100) plus travel will apply). The second artist administration fee is considered and retained as a booking fee, and is non refundable in the even that your numbers go below 6.

  • All amendments to bookings (including adding/removing numbers and location changes) should be confirmed no less than 4 weeks prior. I will always do my best to accomodate changes however these may be charged additionally within a 4-week timeframe.

TIMING

  • Should your timings require a start prior to 6am (including travel), an early start fee of $50 p/h (or part thereof) may apply.

  • While typically a large bridal party will be my only booking for the day, occasionally I take appointments before/after your wedding. For this reason, it’s important that should the timing we briefly discuss during booking changes, I am made aware immediately. I may not be able to accomodate changes for this reason however bridal bookings are my first priority and I will do what I can.

  • Additional time required (including time spent waiting) on the day due to late arrival or disorganisation of the clients will be invoiced at $50 per hour (or part thereof).

TRIALS

  • A 90 minute bridal trial is included in your invoice. While this isn’t compulsory, it is strongly encouraged and cannot be deducted from your quote. Bridal trials take place at my home studio from Tuesday-Saturdays (based on availability) and additional travel will be charged if you would prefer I come to you. Your trial is inclusive of a consultation in which I recommend you bring any inspiration, imagery, preferences or concerns that will help us trial the best style for your wedding day, as well as a full makeup application and minor tweaks. If following the trial, you decide you would like to change what you had asked for during our consult, a second trial can be added for an additional cost. If you aren’t satisfied with the look or wear of your trial makeup, please get in contact ASAP and I will do everything possible to rectify the situation.

  • In the event that you need to cancel/postpone your wedding following your bridal trial, a $110 fee will be invoiced to cover the time spent at your appointment - as this is not covered by your booking fee.

ALLERGIES/SICKNESS

  • It is your/your bridal parties responsibility to make me aware of any known allergies before we begin application. I do not take responsibility for allergic reactions or sensitivities to products. If you are highly sensitive or reactive, please get in contact prior to the day so I can ensure I have the appropriate tools to do my job.

  • I hold the right to refuse service to anyone with an active virus, open wound or contagious illness/disease. Hygienic precautions are to be discussed with me prior to application and failure to do so would result in full replacement costs of contaminated product/equipment.

IMAGERY

  • I may share behind the scenes images, photos of my work or images granted with permission by your photographer on my social media page and in my online portfolio. Please advise if you would prefer these weren’t used.

Wordy agreement aside, I am VERY excited to be a part of your special day. Thank you!
